WHAT IS AMPADIVIDE?

 

Ampadivide is our brand name for hard-wearing packaging boards used to divide layers of goods (for instance, glass bottles and jars) during transport.

Ampadivide boards are made from polyolefin materials – light, rigid thermplastics with good impact strength and chemical resistance – all of which are desirable properties in any packaging material.

Ampadivide boards are also reusable and recyclable, making them an eco-friendly alternative to wood- or paper-based dividers like corrugated cardboard.


KEY FEATURES OF AMPADIVIDE

 

  • Requires no further forming or machining (supplied as a finished product)
  • Sheets are customised according to intended end use (ie sheet size, thickness/weight, identifying markings and load capacity are specified on order). Corners can be rounded if required.
  • Is non-hygroscopic, therefore absorbs less moisture than wood- or paper-based dividers
  • Resistant to many chemicals
  • Can be washed for reuse
  • Can be easily recycled

BENEFITS OF AMPADIVIDE

 

  • Considerably more robust and resistant to damage than wood- or paper-based dividers
  • Much longer operational lifespan compared with wood- or paper-based dividers
  • Less likely to lose strength due to absorption of ambient moisture
  • When Ampadivide boards are no longer usable, they can be returned to Ampa Plastics at scrap value for recycling (terms and conditions apply)
