Acrilan (acrylic)

WHAT IS ACRILAN?
Acrilan is the Ampa Plastics brand name for polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) extruded sheet.
PMMA is often referred to as "Perspex" or "Plexiglas", although these are just two of the many brand names by which this acrylic sheet is known worldwide.
Acrilan extruded sheet is available as stock in two grades:
- Medium-impact (Acrilan MI)
- Ultra-high-impact (Acrilan UHI)
Acrilan MI is available as stock in three colours (clear, opal and bronze), while Acrilan UHI is available only in clear and opal. Non-standard colours can be manufactured on minimum order of three tons.
