History

Ampa Plastics has led the field in plastic sheeting since the founding of its parent company, Ampaglas, in 1973.

Development of local technology has resulted in our ability to blend, co-extrude and laminate specially stabilised and modified materials to suit specific market demands and requirements.

Ampa Plastics was the first company in South Africa to successfully manufacture flat and profile polycarbonate and twin-wall polypropylene sheet (sold under the brand name Coruplas).
